HERE COMES SUMMER WITH TOP UK GUITARIST LEADING UK concert guitarist Richard Durrant will be keeping everyone's sunny side up with a special midsummer recital. Durrant's summer performance at Upfront Arts Theatre, on Saturday15th June, includes one of the most popular concertos of the 20th century. Rodrigo's Concierto di Aranjuez has been specially arranged by Durrant for guitar and piano. He will also be joined by world-renowned keyboard virtuoso and ex-Red Priest member Howard Beach for a guitar and harpsichord arrangement of Vivaldi's Violin Concerto. www.richard-durrant.com Other sun-drenched music from Spain and Latin America and a collection of folk tunes played on guitar and laptop will complete the concert, which starts at 8pm. She will be playing as a duo with her double bass player Tom Fairhall.
